- Closed seasons
- Halibut (Atlantic): 20.12.-20.04. prohibited nationwide. Redfish north of 62°N: only fishable 01.06.-31.08.
- Catch limits
- Fish export from 01.01.2026: 15 kg per person twice per year (only for registered tourist fishing operations). Minimum size halibut: 84 cm since June 2023
- Prohibited methods
- Traps and nets prohibited for tourists. Only rod fishing allowed
- Catch & Release
- Year-round protected species: Spiny dogfish, Basking shark, Porbeagle, Blue ling, Lobster, Bluefin tuna, Silky shark, Eel, Wrasse
