Through charter boat operators in Aqaba or the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. — Jordan has only 26 km coastline — but it is on the Red Sea in Aqaba! GT, tuna and barracuda in warm, crystal clear water. Petra and Wadi Rum as a bonus excursion!
Aqaba lies at the northernmost point of the Red Sea. Corals right up to the shore! Diving + fishing can be combined.
Jordan River (too polluted/small). Dead Sea: No fish (too salty!). No freshwater fishing.
26 km Red Sea coast in Aqaba. Small but fine! Warm, clear water.
Charter boats provide equipment. Fishing shops in Aqaba.
Aqaba Charter: 150-400 JOD/day (~200-550 EUR). Shore Guide: 50-100 JOD.
