- Hardly any tackle shops. Bring your own equipment! Guides have basic equipment.
- Fishing guides
- Mekong fishing guide: 100-300 USD/day. Coastal fishing: 50-150 USD/day.
- Transport
- Flight to Phnom Penh or Siem Reap. Tuk-Tuk, bus or boat. Roads are partly poor.
- Safety
- Sun protection, mosquito protection (malaria/dengue). Mines in remote areas! Crocodiles in the Mekong.
- Customs & taking fish home
- Fishing equipment permitted. Visa on arrival (30 USD).
