Exam from 13 (uncertain after the 2026 reform), license from 14; youth license abolished by the 2026 law – minors ~7–17 fish accompanied

Mandatory: recognized course of at least 30 hours; online course allowed only with a mandatory practice-day certificate

Fishing license

€12/1 year, €41/5 years; from 2026 lifetime validity (fee structure pending); levy status contradictory (uncertain)

No shortcut here — in this state the only way to the water leads through the fishing exam.
