97% rainforest! French Guiana has some of the most pristine waters in the world. The Kourou space center is located here — rockets and jungle fishing!

378 km Atlantic coast. Tarpon and Snook. Little developed.

Little available locally. Tackle shops in Cayenne. Bringing your own robust equipment is recommended.

Getting there

Flights to Cayenne (via Paris — Air France!). Pirogues on the rivers. Hardly any roads inland.
