The Danube Delta is a labyrinth of channels, lakes and reeds. House sturgeon (Beluga sturgeon) still live here — strictly protected! Catfish, pike and zander in abundance.

Danube Delta (unique!), Danube, Carpathian streams. Enormous potential, little fished.

Saltwater

245 km Black Sea coast. Little developed for recreational anglers.

Equipment

Basic equipment in tackle shops. For Danube Delta: Organized via guide/lodge.

Guides

Danube Delta guide + boat: 100-200 EUR/day. Carpathian trout: 80-150 EUR/day.

Getting there

Flights to Bucharest. Rental car. Danube Delta: Boat from Tulcea (organized).
