Rules & Regulations

Closed seasons
Trout: October-March. Grayling: February-May. Carp: Partial spring closed season.
Catch limits
Trout: 3-5/day. Carp in Lake Skadar: Moderate limits. Observe minimum sizes.
Prohibited methods
Dynamite, poison, electrofishing prohibited. Live baitfish often restricted.
Catch & Release
Increasingly accepted, especially for trout and grayling.

The Tara Gorge (UNESCO) has one of the purest rivers in Europe. Trout and grayling in crystal-clear water!
