- Closed seasons
- Catfish: May-June. Pike: February-April. Zander: March-April. Trout: October-March.
- Catch limits
- Catfish: 1/day. Carp: 2/day. Zander: 3/day. Pike: 2/day.
- Prohibited methods
- Dynamite, poison forbidden. Live baitfish allowed.
- Catch & Release
- Increasingly accepted. Recommended for large catfish.
The Danube near Belgrade and the Sava are hotspots for giant catfish. Catfish over 100 kg are regularly caught!
