Closed seasons
Salmon: Varies by river. Season extremely short (July-September!).
Catch limits
Salmon: Strict limits. Char: Moderate limits. Halibut: Regulated.
Prohibited methods
On salmon rivers often only fly fishing. Live bait fish prohibited.
Catch & Release
Increasing for salmon. Recommended for large char.

The season is extremely short — only 2-3 months in the Arctic summer! But the midnight sun allows 24-hour fishing!
