Albania has some of the last wild rivers in Europe! The Vjosa is the last major untamed river on the continent (now a national park!).
Vjosa (wild!), Ohrid Lake (UNESCO), Shkodra Lake, mountain streams. Pristine and adventurous!
Adriatic and Ionian Sea. Little fished. Saranda and Vlora as bases.
Hardly any specialized tackle shops. Bring your own gear!
Local guides: 50-100 EUR/day. Organized tours recommended.
Flight to Tirana. Rental car (roads partly adventurous!). Bus connections.
